Japanese Equity Business

The Equity Sales and Trading team provides UK institutional investors with:

• brokerage services in Japanese equities;
• access to Japanese Initial Public Offerings and Public Offerings where SBI SECURITIES Co., Ltd. is an underwriter; and,
• access to SBI SECURITIES Co., Ltd's research reports including a variety of reports on small and mid-cap companies as well as broader analysis of the Japanese equity market.

In addition to the above services, we also provide a comprehensive Corporate Access service, through which clients can communicate directly with Japanese corporates and SBI SECURITIES Co., Ltd's analysts and economists.

Structured Finance Business

The Structured Finance team serves as a point of contact that seamlessly connects the SBI Shinsei Bank, Limited group and global financial markets. Specifically, the team provides the following advisory services regarding overseas assets (structured finance, etc.) held/invested in by the Bank mainly in Europe and the Middle East.

• Deal sourcing: Capturing investment and financing opportunities for primary and secondary deals based on close collaboration with market participants (arrangers, sponsors, underwriters, lawyers, etc.) mainly in UK and EU.
• Monitoring support: Constant communication and information collection with the sponsors, financial institutions, etc. and provision of research and analysis based on the information.
• Distribution: Discovering and capturing the secondary purchase needs of institutional investors regarding the Bank's existing overseas assets.

MTN Business

We provide arranger and underwriter services for MTN (medium term note) programs. By offering these services, we provide our issuer clients with a flexible means of issuing bonds and help them raise stable management funds.
